Limitation on Enrollment: Acceptance into the Vocational Nursing Program. Successful completion of the first semester of the Vocational Nursing Program or equivalent. Prerequisite: NURVN-415A. Stages of growth and development, behavior, and characteristics of the child. Influences of and differences between the theories of Freud, Erikson, Piaget, Kohlberg, and Maslow. Theories and perspectives of mental health nursing as it relates to the care of children and adolescents. Instructor signature required. Materials Fee: $3.00 (in-person classes only, unless otherwise noted)
