Catalog description

Corequisite: DENTAL-405, DENTAL-415, DENTAL-415L, DENTAL-435, DENTAL-435L, DENTAL-445, and DENTAL-445L. Basic physical and technical aspects of dental materials utilized in restorative and laboratory dental procedures. It is designed to develop the knowledge of the properties and manipulative skills necessary for the application of these materials to include but not limited to: dental lab safety and asepsis, infection control, gypsum, restorative materials, dental cements, impression materials, acrylics and thermoplastics, waxes, fabrication of cast, temporary restoration, study casts, occlusal registrations and face bow.
