Catalog description
Prerequisite: CHEM-24A. Second semester General Chemistry for Science and Engineering students. Topics include kinetics, equilibrium, acid/base/buffers, thermodynamics, electrochemistry, nuclear chemistry, descriptive chemistry, and organic chemistry. Laboratory provides hands-on activities to reinforce lecture concepts, develop chemical laboratory techniques, and use of the scientific method of inquiry. (C-ID CHEM 120S when combined with CHEM-24A) Transfer: CSU; UC
