Catalog description
Students assemble and edit various broadcasting and/or cinematic content. Broadcasting and cinema editing assignments may also include some of the following: found footage, bumpers/interstitials, music video, public service announcement, documentary and dramatic student projects. Other postproduction topics include editing workflows, audio sweetening, title sequences, keying, color grading, broadcast mastering standards, streaming video protocols, and basic visual transitions and effects. Postproduction editing is taken to the next level in this course, where students will leverage A.I. tools to enhance various editing skills. They will learn to use A.I. for tasks such as color correction, noise reduction, and automated scene tagging, improving the efficiency and quality of postproduction processes. Transfer: CSU
