Catalog description

Corequisite: BIOL-23 (may be taken previously). Introduction to microbiology laboratory techniques. Methods of culturing, staining, biochemically analyzing, and classifying microorganisms. Note: For safety reasons, and to support student success, all sections of this course include mandatory attendance dates, including all lab meetings for the first 4 weeks of the semester and class meetings for in-person practicum exams (exact dates will be provided in the course syllabus). Students are advised that they may be dropped from the course for absence on a mandatory attendance date. Transfer: CSU; UC
