Intermediate Painting

Catalog description

Prerequisite: ART-16. Advisory: Completion of ART-10. Exploration of artistic concepts and techniques related to intermediate-level painting, focusing on complex subject matter and concepts using a variety of approaches. Students will build on fundamental painting skills to develop personalized approaches to content and materials. Study of Western and non-Western historical and contemporary approaches to painting.
