Catalog description

An association and application of principles, theory, philosophy, methodology, structure, function, and operation of programs for young children. The course includes practical application of knowledge base principles and best practice in the development and implementation of daily and weekly unit plans, menus, environmental design and emergent curriculum for coordination of a total program. The course requires the application of content in a qualified early childhood field experience with children of diverse ability levels.
