GUIDANCE TECHNIQUES IN HUMAN RELATIONS

Catalog description

Throughout this course, student will examine the strategies, principles and techniques for understanding outcomes for effective conflict resolution and positive guidance. The content of the course will focus on identifying common behaviors, teaching social-emotional skills, examining positive guidance approaches, and developing the skills to support self-control and self-discipline in building human relations. Students will be actively engaged in field experiences developing observation skills and demonstrating best practices for the process of effectively assessing and managing behavior.
