Catalog description

Foundational Literacy is based on the most current research into how the brain learns how to read and how reading instruction can be more effective when we better align current student skills with how we teach new skills. It is this science of learning upon which the science of reading (and writing) is based.The course material presents new thinking in what to teach, how to teach it, and how learning is assessed.
