LITERATURE AND LANGUAGE ARTS PROGRAM FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD

Catalog description

The course provides an introduction to literature for preschool age children using developmentally appropriate literature and language arts activities and effective teaching strategies to promote the development of language arts skills, with an emphasis on the development of reading readiness in the diverse ability levels of preschool children. Field experiences with observation and application of content while working with children are woven into the content of the course.
