SCIENCE, MATH, AND SOCIAL SCIENCE FOR EARLY CHILDHOOD

Catalog description

Development of coordinated programs and the learning environment for the study of science, math, and social science for preschool age children utilizing a variety of instructional materials and teaching strategies. Emphasis is placed upon the development of innate interests, vocabulary, concepts, and readiness skills through concrete experiences as well as play activities. Field experiences with observation and application of content while working with children of diverse ability levels are woven into the content of the course.
