Catalog description

This course will focus primarily on the theoretical aspects within the field of pedagogy including various instructional strategies used in the K-12 including direct instruction, indirect instruction, experiential learning, independent study, and interactive instruction. Student assignments will focus on developing lessons for students that utilize instructional practices and assessments that are based on established best practices and research within the teaching profession.
