This course provides an in-depth exploration of the key functions of school business management and personnel administration. Participants will study budgeting, auditing, fund management, purchasing, and inventory procedures, as well as school finance at various governmental levels, including bond issues and future financial trends. The course also covers critical legal, political, and economic factors impacting K-12 school finance. In addition, students will examine human resource management practices, including recruitment, performance evaluation, professional negotiations, and compliance with educational laws and policies. Emphasis is placed on practical, applied skills in school operations, resource allocation, and problem-solving at both the building and district levels.
