This course traces the principal currents of Hispanic culture through Europe and the New World. Using a thematic approach, it traces the historic, political and economic development of the Spanish speaking people, and presents the highlights of Hispanic achievements from the standpoint of civilization and culture. This course conducted primarily in Spanish, is recommended for Spanish majors.
