Catalog description

This course will explore how cultural beliefs, values, and practices influence individual and community health. Students will learn how cultural factors affect health behaviors, perceptions of illness, responses to treatment, and interactions with healthcare systems. The course will also focus on these key topics: cultural attitudes toward wellness and illness, the role of family and community, and the impact of religious or spiritual beliefs on health practices.
