Catalog description

This course provides a basic introduction to the principles of health education, including discussion of the teaching/learning process, and effective pedagogy for the diverse population of the elementary school-aged child. The principles learned will be applied in the delivery of dental health education to elementary school children in the community. In addition, a basic framework for table clinic development will be presented, and support will be given to students in the planning process of this activity.
