Catalog description

This course will acquaint the student with developmentally appropriate language, literature, social sciences, and dramatic activities for children. Instruction will cover pre-reading, pre-writing, and the development of listening and speaking skills. Diversity issues involved in the development of literacy skills are introduced. This course meets the Department of Social Services Classification Indicator DS 3.
