Catalog description

This course introduces English language learners to careers in the Healthcare Career Cluster while integrating reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills, and civics education. Emphasis is placed on career exploration; effective communication skills for employability; academic readiness for continuing education and training, and developing technology skills. Upon completion, students should be able to identify different healthcare career pathways and successfully transition to continuing education, vocational training, and employment in the health occupation sector.
