Catalog description

This course develops students' pedagogical content knowledge for teaching social studies by expanding their knowledge of theory, curriculum development, methods, and strategies for teaching middle and high school social studies. Methods is a required course and should be taken the semester prior to student teaching. Double majors must take a methods course for each major.
