Catalog description

Acquisition of materials and methodology for music majors who are preparing to teach music in the elementary schools. Includes examination of note and rhythm reading comprehension, fluency, strategies, practice skills, concept development, and critical thinking and analysis, especially within the context of music education for typical and atypical learners. This is a professional education course and requires a grade of C or better for education majors.
