This course examines strategic management and organizational leadership through analytical, data-informed frameworks. Students evaluate competitive environments, assess organizational capabilities, and apply quantitative and qualitative models to formulate and implement strategy. Emphasis is placed on problem solving, scenario planning, optimization of strategic alternatives, and change management. Students apply evidence-based analytical tools to diagnose organizational challenges, design strategic interventions, and communicate recommendations in professional formats. The course integrates team-based projects, case analyses, and leadership simulations. Section information text: Focus on theories and principles of strategic leadership, as applied in real-life situations. Identify and evaluate decision-making and problem-solving processes at play in existing organizations. Apply strategic tools to analyze current practice and create and propose improvements for an existing organization. Evaluate and apply basic principles of change management. Learn via individual and team problem-solving and presentation.
