Children's Literature

Catalog description

Familiarity with various types of literature for children, principles for selecting excellent children's books, and methods of presentation for integration of children's literature into the early childhood, elementary and special education curriculum. The course includes resources and strategies for addressing different learning needs and culturally diverse populations. This is a professional education course and requires a grade of C or better for education majors.
