Catalog description
This course applies microeconomic theory and statistical techniques to managerial decision-making in competitive and uncertain business environments. Students use forecasting, optimization, and dynamic modeling to analyze pricing, production, cost behavior, and resource allocation. Emphasis is placed on interpreting economic data, evaluating tradeoffs, modeling uncertainty, and making evidence-based strategic decisions. Students apply quantitative tools to real-world business cases and use analytical frameworks to assess firm behavior and market dynamics.
