Catalog description

This course examines the role of information systems in supporting managerial decision-making and organizational performance. Students analyze how data is collected, stored, integrated, and transformed into managerial insight through data warehousing, data mining, business intelligence, and decision-support systems. Emphasis is placed on evaluating information needs, modeling data-driven processes, and designing prototype systems that support operational and strategic decisions. Students apply analytics tools and systems-thinking frameworks to solve complex business problems.
