Catalog description

Field experiences in hospital emergency department and ambulance settings, including patient assessment, medical emergencies, and traumatic injuries. Upon successful completion of the course requirements and the state practical examination, students will be eligible to apply for and take the National Registry cognitive examination. Prerequisite(s): Must pass a criminal background check to complete clinical experiences.
