Catalog description

This course introduces foundational skills in evaluation for speech-language pathology, emphasizing principles of assessment, administration of standardized and informal measures, and interpretation of results across communication domains. Students will practice conducting assessments with peers, simulated clients, and case-based tools. Clinical implications for professional communication, ethical responsibilities, and family-centered reporting are highlighted to prepare students for entry-level evaluation experiences. An additional fee is associated with this course.
