Catalog description

Introduction to causes and mechanisms of wildlife diseases including the pathobiology of the disease, zoonosis, and the wide range of pathogens and diseases impacting the different classes of animals. Discussion on the significance of disease on populations, domestic/wildlife/human interface, and the implications on conservation and management. This course offers hands on training in microbiology fundamentals, necropsy, disease detection, field sampling and diagnostic testing.
