Catalog description

Using a thematic approach, this course synthesizes art history, criticism, aesthetics, and ideation with the end goal of enhancing the relevance of theory for practicing artists, designers and educators. Investigating historical and contemporary exemplars, students will engage with assigned readings, writings, classroom discussions, and prompt-based production.
