2026-2027 Undergraduate Bulletin > Courses > COM - Communication > 300 > COM 309 COM 309 Mediated Communication and Global Identity Analysis of American and International media to identify assumptions about global citizenship and how global citizenship relates to issues such as race/ethnicity and identity. Identical to MCA 309. Credit may not be earned in more than one of these courses. Because the course involves international travel, all students must apply through the Office of Study Abroad.
