Advanced Health Assessment

Catalog description

The focus of this course is development of advanced health history and assessment skills. Discussion will center on interpreting data, recognizing deviations from normal, recognizing actual and potential health problems, and determining the nursing/medical diagnosis. Cultural diversity and ethical issues will be considered. This course requires completion of 50 contact hours with Shadow Health. (4 credit hours: 3 didactic/1 clinical/50 clinical contact hours)
