Catalog description

An introduction to basic statistical procedures and inference, with emphasis on applications and statistical reasoning. Topics include data collection and presentation, descriptive statistics, probability, probability distributions, confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, correlation and regression. MOTR MATH 110 Statistical Reasoning. Prerequisites: MA090 - Computer-Assisted Pre-algebra. Additional Prerequisites / Conditions: OR ACT Math subscore greater than or equal to 22; or by permission of the Chair.
