Computer-Assisted Pre-Algebra DOES NOT COUNT TOWARD GRADUATION

Catalog description

This course is designed for students who lack the necessary arithmetic and/or algebraic skills to undertake courses in mathematics and science. This course emphasizes individualized instruction and computer-assisted learning. Concepts are divided into modules which students must master to progress in the course. Students who complete all the required modules have met the prerequisite for MA103 College Algebra (Intensive) 5 hr. course. Students are placed into the class based on University policy or by permission of the Chair. Course hours will not count toward graduation. Pass/Fail.
