Catalog description

The provision of hands-on care is only one aspect of appropriate health care services. Professional providers of health care services are also responsible for providing clients and families accurate and adequate education about their health issues. This course explores the various individual assessments necessary to determine a client's learning readiness and how to develop and adapt appropriate information to a format that meets the needs of the individual client. Additional Prerequisites / Conditions: AH300 or HS300 or HS110 . Prerequisite may be taken as a co-requisite. Must earn a C to pass this course
