Catalog description

This course explores scientific problems and mathematically intensive problems and seeks to solve them by programming solutions. Examples of topics considered include trajectories, ballistics, rocket flight paths, fractals and the Mandelbrot set, numerical methods, and ray tracing. Prerequisite: MA103 College Algebra or a higher Mathematics Course
