Catalog description
The purpose of this course is to introduce students to the process of community assessment and program development in behavior health. Topics will include: community health assessment, program planning, program implementation, and program evaluation. Prerequisites: BEH200 - Introduction to Behavior Health, BEH205 - Evidence Based Treatments, BEH210 - Diagnosis of Identified Populations, BEH215 - Motivational Interviewing, BEH220 - Substance Use Disorders, and BEH310 - Client Assessment. Additional Prerequisites / Conditions: Must earn a C to pass this course.
