Catalog description
The purpose of this course is to provide students the skills necessary to intervene and resolve conflicts for clients in crisis. Students will examine multiple communication techniques, as well as evidence-based interventions to assist clients. Prerequisites: BEH200 - Introduction to Behavior Health and BEH215 - Motivational Interviewing. Additional Prerequisites / Conditions: Must earn a C to pass this course.
