This course is designed to prepare the student to function in the role of a leader. Emphasis is place on the concepts of managing care, advocacy, legal issues, policy, health care systems, ethics, accountability, and evidence-based practice. Upon completion, students should be able to provide safe nursing care incorporating the concepts identified in this course.
