This course introduces the student to principles of receiving, storing, and dispensing medications. Topics include purchasing, packaging, and labeling drugs; pharmacy policies and procedures; documentation; inventory and filing systems; compounding; storage and control; pharmacy equipment; and health care organizational structure.
