Prerequisites: BUSN 2370 or BUSN 2375 This course introduces the principles of medical auditing. Emphasis will be placed on key areas of regulation, medical record documentation, chart abstraction, and developing coding compliance plans. Topics include: coding compliance, importance of documentation, medical necessity, coding compliance programs, auditing, auditing prevention techniques, and emerging technologies. Carpentry
