FOUNDATIONS OF BUSINESS MATH

Catalog description
Students will learn and review basic mathematical concepts needed to succeed in Business Math. Topics include functions and linear modeling, an introduction to statistics and probability, and finance. Additional topics may also be covered. This course focuses on utilizing technology for problem solving. Students must be enrolled in MATH 1395 (Business Mathematics) to enroll in UNIV 0395. A grade of D or better in the college-level course signifies completion of the developmental requirement. This course does not count toward degree requirements and will not be used to compute semester or cumulative grade point averages. Placement in this course is guided by the university’s Mathematics Placement Policy.
