Catalog description

Concepts of care of the patient in radiology including both physical and psychological conditions. General nursing procedures, patient preparation for radiographic procedures, the basic forms of contrast media and the precautions for administering them, and emergency care. Preparation to deal with patients in a manner that does not add further discomfort or injury nor hinder recovery. Competency in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and IV therapy are obtained in this course.
