Catalog description

A course that explores the collaborative role of the nurse when providing for the health needs of childbearing families from preconception, through pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. Emphasis is placed on the nursing process and clinical reasoning to provide collaborative care in acute and community environments. Students will complete 67.5 hours of supervised clinical experiences. Prerequisites: NURS 3303, NURS 3405, and NURS 3205.
