Catalog description
A review course in the rules of pronunciation for the Italian language utilizing the International Phonetic Alphabet. Application of IPA rules of pronunciation will give graduate vocal students needed tools for the teaching and performance of Italian art songs, arias, and recitative. The course is an elective. This course does not count toward a graduate degree but does fulfill the requirement to carry 9 hours of credit. On demand.
