Introduction to jazz harmony on piano. The course consists of typical II – V – I – IV progressions in 3-note, 4-note, and 5-note voicings and basic comping on a variety of jazz standards. Prerequisites: MUS 1132 with a minimum grade of C or permission of instructor.
