Catalog description

Requirement for all music majors (BA, BM, and BME). Assesses the minimum technical and performance proficiency standards required for upper-division study on students' primary instrument/voice. Administered by area applied faculty during end-of-the -semester applied jury examinations. Completed concurrently with the student's fourth consecutive semester of applied music study on their primary instrument/voice or at another time at the recommendation of the applied faculty and department advisor.
