Catalog description

The required capstone class in the innovation and entrepreneurship major and minor. An elective course in the management major and minor. This course is designed for business and non-business students who are interested in learning how to be an entrepreneur. This course will take the students through the startup process which includes identifying an opportunity for a business, defining the market, designing and experimenting with business models, and developing a minimum viable product. The students will also develop a business plan and present/pitch their business idea through a public presentation. Prerequisite: MKTG 3376 or consent of instructor. [UD UCA Core: C]
