Catalog description

A required course in the human resource management emphasis major and human resource management minor. An elective in the management major and minor. The objective of this course is to move students beyond the principles of management to the application and development of management skills in a highly participative classroom environment. The course will extend theoretical learnings and help students acquire practical management skills that are of immediate use in any professional position. The course will focus on three main components: managing yourself, managing relationships, and managing your team. Prerequisite: Junior standing.
