STRATEGIC HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

Catalog description

A required course in the management, human resource management emphasis, innovation and entrepreneurship, and logistics and supply chain management majors, and in the logistics and supply chain management and human resource management minors. An elective course in the marketing major and in the management and marketing minors. Students in the course examine the role of personnel/human resource management in organizations. Emphasizes selection/staffing, employee training and development, performance management, and compensating organization's human resource management. Uses lecture, discussion, and case analysis. Prerequisite: MGMT 3340 or MGMT 2341.
