Catalog description
An elective course in the management, human resource management emphasis, and marketing majors and minors. This course provides students with an introduction to the social and ethical issues facing managers in a variety of organizational settings. Theories of ethics and social responsibility will be discussed and then applied to real-life settings involving employees, consumers, government, and society. Methods of instruction include lecture, discussion, case studies, and class presentations.
