Catalog description

This course is an elective for the M.A. degree. This introduction to generalizations of the notion of continuity includes the study of minimum conditions on a set necessary to describe continuous functions. This study is accomplished via point set topology using examples including knots, surfaces, and function spaces. Lecture/seminar format. Prerequisite: Consent of instructor. On demand.
